It's been two flippin' years since I've updated this. That's kind of the story of my life. That's that man I've been, but not the man I want to be. During these last few months, God has allowed me to see some progress in a couple of important areas. I understand that in Christ, I am "positionally" secure...
Paul says in Romans 8:1 that "There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus." Christ loves me and all of my imperfections.
But in light of that truth, Paul still says....
"I discipline my body and keep it under control, lest after preaching to others I myself should be disqualified." 1 Corinthians 9:27
Paul's motivation is right on here. He isn't bringing his body under subjection for any reason other than his desire to fully and completely share the gospel.
Bringing my body under subjection means a lot for me at the moment. I may or may not write more about that here, but my personal journal documents the slow journey to this point.
Writing this blog today is one way that I am bringing my body under subjection. Writing in any form on any platform.
zi hope you start blogging again. I think you should. And I don't know what YouVersion is. Just a random fact.

Guys and gals upload notes, thoughts, & sermons on particular topics and or scriptures. The main thing I use it for is my reading plan. They have a bunch of reading plans to choose from and you can track electronically (comp &/or smart phone). There have been times when I've had some downtime, but didn't have my Bible with me. Instead of playing Angry Birds, I was able to read and keep on track with my plan. It's good stuff. Check it out. It's the creation of LifeChurch.tv
